FROM THE AIRPORT & EAST COAST including Freycinet, Coles Bay, Port Arthur.
Follow the A3 to HOBART.
After crossing the Tasman Bridge follow the signs for the B68 SANDY BAY.
Follow the road pass the waterfront and proceed up the hill in the left hand lane.
Turn left into Sandy Bay Road sign posted B68 SANDY BAY & TAROONA at the traffic lights by the park.
Proceed to the second set of traffic lights and turn left into St Georges Terrace.
Then turn immeadiate left into the lane way behind the St Ives Hotel.
At the bottom of the driveway turn right for the Motel Reception.
FROM THE NORTH – Hwy 1 including Devenport, Launceston, Cradle Mountain, Bay of Fires, Strahan, Derwent Valley, Cadburys and Moorilla.
Follow Hwy 1 to HOBART (and then Waterfront not City) and pass the waterfront staying on the main road towards the A6.
Proceed up the hill in the left hand lane.
Turn left into Sandy Bay Road sign posted B68 SANDY BAY & TAROONA at the traffic lights by the park.
Proceed to the second set of traffic lights and turn left into St Georges Terrace.
Then turn immeadiate left into the lane way behind the St Ives Hotel.
At the bottom of the driveway turn right for the Motel Reception.
FROM THE SOUTH – Mount Wellington, Cascade Brewery, Tahune Airwalk, Huon Valley, Hastings Caves, Bruny Island.
Follow the A6 into HOBART and as you come off the highway you will turn right into Macquarie Street. Stay in the right hand lane.
Drive down the hill and turn right into Murray St. at the 4th set of traffic lights
Turn right again at the next set of lights into Davey St (returning in the direction you have just come from) and move into the left hand lane.
At the first set of traffic lights, by the park. turn left into Sandy Bay Road sign posted B68 SANDY BAY & TAROONA at the traffic lights by the park.
Proceed to the second set of traffic lights and turn left into St Georges Terrace.
Then turn immeadiate left into the lane way behind the St Ives Hotel.
At the bottom of the driveway turn right for the Motel Reception.
